Leading an international migration network, SIMN’s board of directors, executive staff, regional officers and advisory committees are strategically focused on three main areas of action:

  • Services to migrants, refugees, internally displaced people, seafarers, itinerant people, and people on the move to protect and promote their human, economic, social, and cultural rights.
  • Advocacy to promote policies and programs that protect the dignity and rights of migrants and their families, in addition to publications on migration policies to improve understanding and governance of international migration.
  • Sustainability and capacity building programs to support Scalabrinian entities in their commitment to serve and advocate for migrants and their families.
